Due for completion in August 2024, the structure will offer 130,900 sq ft of Grade A office space that will be used by civil servants and some government departments such as Highways England.
The brief included the supply and installation of the full structural package of the Plot 9a, commercial building. This included the fabrication of over 1500 tonnes of steel.
With our long-standing relationship with BAM Construction, as well as our experience of working on First Street, we were chosen to deliver the structural package.
The building is targeting an “Excellent” rating, ensuring a high level of sustainability. It is also a net zero carbon office.
We asked for feedback during the commercial and technical stage of this project and we will ask for site performance feedback once the project is complete.
So far, we have gained high scores for our commercial and technical performance, plus some positive additional comments from BAM.
